18 women played in the tournament and we went out as twosome's. The Red team won, but actually both teams were winners, since Lisa distributed cash to both teams.

Welcome back: We were all so happy to have Pat Thibodeau join us. She walked with Ann Williams and Barbara Comeau during the
tournament and then joined us for dinner and the meeting. A plant was presented to Pat that actually grows beer.
Looking forward to having Pat back on the course with us next year.
Fun things: Mary Lou was presented with an extra, extra, long pencil, with a sharpener so she can have it with her at all times,
if anyone asks her for her autograph. We have a golf celebrity in our midst and didn't even know it until now.
Discussions: The majority at the dinner agreed that we will increase our membership fee's in 2010 from $65.00 to $70.00,
in order to payout 3 places, in our weekly tournaments.
I asked for volunteers to handle the tee time number pick in 2010.

Note: I will send out an e-mail in the spring, once I have discussed it with the above women, to let you know how it will be handled, either by posting a sheet in the Pro Shop, by e-mail and/or by phone. Please, please, make sure everyone adhere's to it, in order to make it easier for the people that are volunteering to do it.
Rules: We are doing away with the free drop on #15, since it is all grass now. However, you will still have a free drop from the
area in front of the men's tee on #16, where it is all bare ground.
Called on: Sharon Halloran: She is our WGAM (State Rep) and has been for 5 years. If you wish to join the states or play on the State
team please contact Sharon. Also, for the past 11 years she has been in charge of the league. She informed us that the
dues will go up to $30.00, next year. In addition she went over some rules/changes that she will advise everyone of next
season. (Also, Sharon noted that spring team starts on 4/29/10)
Sandra Zelny: Sandra has been our Worcester County Rep. since 1997. If you want to join Worc. Cty. please sent
Sandra a check, a.s.a.p., payable to WCWGA, in the amount of $15.00. In addition she is also on the Executive Committee.
Mary Lou Sanborn: Mary Lou has been the secretary for the association since 2000. In addition she is on the
Executive Committee. Mary Lou keeps our records up to date and gives us an overview of what has taken place on
every opening day and again on final day.
Ann Williams: Ann is the Vice President of the association and did a great job running the Ladies Member Invitational this
year. She will be the VP again next season and informed us all that she doesn't have a theme for next year, as yet. Ann is
also on the Executive Committee. We all know it will be another great day again!
Elaine Fluet: Elaine Fluet has been on the Executive Committee for the past 2 years and will be again, next season.
Lisa Alford: Lisa has been the Treasurer of the association for the past 4 years and has kept all our records and pays all
our bills. Lisa has opted to step down this year, but will continue to be on the Executive Committee. In addition she
has worked closely with Sharon Halloran for the past 11 years to make the league successful. We presented a basket
of mums to Lisa, for all the time and dedication she has put into the job of Treasurer.
Sue Dery: Sue has been a past Vice President and then continued on this past season as part of the Executive
Committee. She will be stepping into the Treasurer's position in the 2010 season and also continue to be on the
Executive Committee.
All of the above women have done a wonderful job of keeping our association running smoothly and giving so generously of their time. Thanks to all of them.
Votes: Votes were taken to accept nomination for: Barbara Erdmann as President, Ann Williams as Vice President, Mary Lou
Sanborn as Secretary and Sue Dery as Treasurer.
Awards: The evening was ended by presenting awards to the following individuals:
Sandra Zelny & Elaine Fluet, the 2008 winners of the Ladies Cup, presented the Ladies Cup trophy's to Sue Dery and Mary
Janell, who were the 2009 winners.
Ann Williams was presented with a check for being the winner of the 2009 "A" Division Championship
Marie Carpenter was presented with two (2) checks for being the winner of the 2009 Net Championship and the "B" Div.
Championship.
Marlyn Pajari was also presented with a check for being the 2009 Ladies Club Champion.
The meeting was adjourned earlier than usual. Great day!
P.S. I forgot to mention to everyone that Mike Leblanc had said that if we have less than $50.00, in our account, in the Pro Shop, we don't have to close it out. He will most likely be sending out an e-mail about it soon.
